I admit it. I was raised in a pack of dogs. Six Miniature Schnauzers and a Newfoundland were my furry siblings (along with two human sisters and a brother). Princess, Reggie, Lucky, Benji, Prissy, Gizmo, and Brandy.
We also had rabbits, gerbils, parrots and other birds, lizards, fish, hermit crabs, turtles...oh and a cat, but Tippy not so surprisingly kept to herself. Let's just say that my mom didn't know how to say no to a cute animal and I got really good at grooming.
For several years, I wanted to become a veterinarian when I grew up; I even landed a summer job as a veterinary assistant. Anyhow, I have plenty of experience with animals and love capturing them in action now that I'm a photographer.
I've really enjoyed being a volunteer photographer for the Riley County Humane Society and recently started offering special Pet Portrait sessions with part of the session fee being donated to this awesome organization.
