I wanted to give a special shout out to this handsome fella and his family. Those of you who followed our escaped dog saga a couple Christmases ago might remember the happy ending that involved someone who had seen our missing dogs flyer circulating on Facebook while at work. He came home to find Dozer had invited our pups in from the icy weather and contacted us right away. Such a relief! Thank you Dozer and family for rescuing Vega and Sirius! And a very happy 9th birthday to this beautiful beast!
It was REALLY hot out even though we started at 9am. I had sweat stinging my eyes within 10 minutes. So, I wasn't exactly sacrificing myself when I told the boys that they could squirt me at the end of their session.
It felt great!
Don't be shy if you have ideas to make your session extra fun. I love themed sessions and my own family pictures last month involved a rather epic paint fight!
My kids have given me loads of practice photographing at playgrounds, swimming pools, bounce houses, a variety of indoor and outdoor sports...you name it and I will probably be game! I've got an excellent, new zoom lens coming soon so that I can take my sports photography to the next level and I would love to capture your kids on the move and in their true element!
